Blocker is built to be completely private. We do not collect, store, share, sell, or transmit any personal data. The app has no internet permission, no user accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. Everything happens entirely on your device.
Blocker does not gather any personal or sensitive information. There are no servers and nothing you do in the app ever leaves your phone.
Blocker's only purpose is to help you spend less time on short-form video. To do this it uses Android's Accessibility Service for a single function: to detect, in real time, when the full-screen Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts player is on the screen. When the matching toggle is on, Blocker presses Back to bounce you out; it also keeps a local count of how many you have seen.
Blocker saves a local daily count of Reels/Shorts viewed and your toggle preferences, in private app storage. This is used solely to show your in-app stats, never leaves your device, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Blocker contains no advertising, analytics, trackers, cloud backup, or third-party libraries that collect data.
Blocker does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will ship inside an app update.
